AX was pretty cool, even though I only got to go on Sunday...
-Got to meet a long-time friend of mine, ~DashNakeshi.
-Picked up an Ed Elric (would've been Link, but she was doing well enough to sell out of him) bookmark from ~esuri.
-Bought three regular prints (why don't any of the artists put their names or websites or SOMETHING on their work? I'll never be able to spend more money on them if I want to! THIS INCLUDES YOU, AFOREMENTIONED DEVIANT. ... ...
-Got to see a panel from ImaginAsian, an excellent TV station that we used to be able to see without even having cable, and learned all about a neat-looking ren'ai game, Shira Oka, through their panel. That led to me signing up for their forums and finding out about a whole bunch of cool, free games (that aren't theirs, haha).
-Also got to see the first two (subtitled) episodes of an animé called Romeo x Juliet, which looks to be fantastic-- and I'm picky about them. I really wasn't a fan of the Shakespearean play it's loosely based on, for some reason, but the show seems to be excellent. I sure hope they bring it to the U.S.
-I also, yes, cosplayed as Ema Skye, and I'll post photos of that soon!
I also went to Washington, D.C. (and parts of Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania) with my dad, Carol, and her grandson (yep, her grandson is only a year younger than I am). It was a neat trip, very educational, but I think the things I learned that stuck in my mind most are:
1. Michael (the grandson) is pretty cool
2. Lookout towers have steps
2.a) Lots of them
2.a-1) So does the Lincoln Memorial
2.b) When you have been walking literally all day, you start thinking in expletives
3. It is indeed possible to spend a whole week almost literally having no time to do anything but eat and sleep, aside from visiting museums and other points of interest
I also am finally out of high school on paper whenever I want to be! I'm hoping I can improve one of my grades before I get my final transcript, but otherwise, I'm FREEEEEEEE! I'm finishing up getting myself set up for going into college right now, and I've also started (slowly, but I'm still running around a little) trying to comment on here again. I'm also going to post up a couple more photos that are a BIT more recent, as I mentioned, along with a bunch of art I've done since I last posted something here. It's been waaayyyy too long.
Also, anybody have any authors they would like to recommend? I haven't been reading much for a long time, and I really miss reading as much as I used to! I'm not really a fan of Harry Potter, so unlike many of you, I haven't had anything big to read recently. I don't care what kind of author you mean-- fiction, nonfiction, fanfiction, even if you want to suggest a long-running comic, that'd be fine-- although I'd prefer ordinary literature, at the moment. I'm open to any kind of content, although I prefer fantasy, sci-fi, or perhaps INTERESTING romance. I'm talking stuff that doesn't make me gag, but otherwise I don't mind any kind of romantic pairing, regardless of genders involved; I just want a neat read. I'm also more interested in serious stuff than humour right now, but as I said, anything would interest me.
Anyway, look for me to (finally) post some more art up here, and start commenting again!

and Hii, how have you been? ^_^ Thank you so much for adding me again. You're one of the only people to stay loyal all the way from my first account. And I really appreciate it more than you know.
Been a while, huh?
